Hello, Grade 1 Families,
Learning Intention: I can apply particular senses to identify and describe objects or materials provided.
We had the best time in science this week. Thank you to all the families who helped their child succeed with their at-home science task. We were so excited to share what we brought and have our peers make predictions using their senses of smell, hearing and touch. Ask your child what they predicted during our experiment and what was actually in each of the containers. We used vocabulary such as sticky, cold, gooey, yummy, soft, hard and noisy during our experiment. Next, we will learn how to care for our senses and how people adapt to limited sensory abilities.
Valentine's Day
A class list was sent home on Wednesday if your child is going to make Valentine's cards. Please note, this is optional.
