Learning Intention: I can identify the requirements of plants to maintain life.
As we learn about plants, the parts of a plant and what they need to survive, we have been exploring this Gizmo. It allows you to control the amount of light, nutrients and water to see how the plant will grow and change over 50 days. Check it out here. We also planted sunflower seeds on Friday and are excited to see our plants grow. As spring has sprung around Calgary, take your child out and see what plants you can find. What do you notice that is similar? What is different between the plants?
Big Brave - WOW! Check out how well our school is doing supporting kiddos with cancer and helping these kiddos go to Camp Kindle. We are learning this song so we can sing it at the assembly. Here is another song we have used to learn more about Kids Cancer Care and Camp Kindle.
